Aeros U18 Coaching Announcement 2023/2024 Season
U18 Toronto Aeros led by Dan Coldwell & Associate Coach Nav Biln 2023-24

Dan & Nav have coached collaboratively together on both the Aeros U18 and U22 team benches since 2020.  

Head Coach Dan Coldwell is a highly experienced elite level coach with extensive leadership skills and a track record of success in helping both female athletes and coaches reach their full potential. Dan is a collaborative coach who values people and the contribution they make to their teams, and is known to provide clear direction, sense of purpose and consistency which results in high-performing, engaged teams.

Prior to joining the Aeros, Dan spent 17 seasons coaching in the Central York Panthers organization where teams under his leadership won 14 tournaments and a Provincial Championship. He enjoys cordial relationships with many NCAA and USports coaches and scouts which has helped many of his players further their playing careers at the university level. Aside from hockey, Dan operates his own leadership consulting business. 

Nav Biln Associate Coach:: has instructed in hockey development since 2003 with such well-respected hockey schools as Sk8on before starting his own hockey school H72ckey, and has been coaching elite level hockey from Novice AAA to Midget AAA boys in the OMHA since 2008. Nav first brought his extensive technical knowledge to the female game in 2017-18, when he led the Midget AA Brampton Canadettes to the Provincial Championship title and placed 4th at the Esso Cup National Championship in his first season coaching girls before coaching their Junior team.

With a passion to learn and teach the game, Nav has worked with many players from the NHL, AHL, OHL and NCAA collegiate hockey. He also continues to coach and mentor young players, working alongside the 2019 Telus Cup National Championship team, the Toronto Young Nationals, and many of their players. Nav has been a Head Coach with the Aeros since 2020. 

Dayle Wilkinson Associate Coach. In her 4th season coaching with the Aeros, Dayle is also a two year Junior Aeros alumna and Aeros Assistant Captain, winning PWHL and Provincial Championships. She also competed with Team Ontario Red, capturing a National Championship in 2009. Dayle went on to play Defence at St. Lawrence University on scholarship for 4 years. At St. Lawrence, Dayle helped her team win their first ever ECAC Championship in 2011-12.

Dayle was also voted best defensive player for three consecutive years and was a Captain in her senior year. Academically, Dayle earned ECAC All-Academic Honors and was accepted into the National Sociology Students Honors Society. She entered the M.S. Clinical Mental Health Counselling program at Plymouth State University and was an Assistant Coach for their Division III hockey team in 2014-15.

Also a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario, Dayle is currently working as a Vision Therapist. 

Marc Rowe Associate Coach: In his 2nd season as U18 AA Coach, Marc’s playing career included four years of Junior “A” hockey in the CJHL and a CCHL league championship with the Nepean Raiders. He has a passion for the game of hockey and for player development, believing in bringing out the full potential of every player. Marc is driven to create a positive and inclusive environment where all players can thrive both on and off the ice.

Marc resides in Newmarket, ON with his fiancée Adrienne, and works for TaylorMade Golf.
