Toronto Aeros Goalie Yasmeen Rizkana Leads Egypt to Gold at Dream Nations Cup
Congratulations to our very own Toronto Aeros U18AA netminder Yasmeen Rizkana on representing Egypt on their National Women's Ice Hockey Team and winning gold at the CCM Dream Nations Cup!

Yasmeen was instrumental in the team's undefeated record, earning a tie against Lebanon and wins against South Korea, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean in overtime to secure the gold medal victory. She led all goalies in the tournament with a .945 save percentage. Yasmeen also posted an admirable 1.25 GAA in four games played and was also named the game MVP in her game against South Korea.

The Dream Nations Cup, presented by CCM, is an invitational international ice hockey tournament that celebrates and emphasizes the emergence of the sport in non-traditional hockey markets. The tournament was held in the greater NYC/Metro Area May 27 – June 1st. Yasmeen and the Egyptian team made their second appearance at the Dream Nations Cup, where she and they built on their debut from last year—when they earned a bronze medal in the women’s division.
